It’s been a while since I’ve done this. And given the journey down to Fitzroy Falls tomorrow arvo for Church Camp, I thought a mix tape would be fun.
Red Flag - Billy Talent
Hum Hallelujah - Fall Out Boy
Don’t Stop Believin’ - Journey
Poison - Bell Biv DeVoe
Thunderbirds Are Coming Out - Tism
I’m Shipping Up to Boston - Dropkick Murphys
So Great a Salvation - The O.C. Supertones
Santeria - Sublime
Under Pressure - Queen & David Bowie
Everything is Alright - Motion City Soundtrack
Blood and Spunk - Regurgitator
Rapper’s Delight - The Sugarhill Gang
Can’t Change Yesterday - Revive
Dancing on the Inside - Antiskeptic
Minute by Minute - Grinspoon
The Hard Road - The Hilltop Hoods
Point of Difference - Hillsong United
Ocean Avenue - Yellowcard
Misery Business - Paramore
That ‘Gurge song is their new one - it’s this synth/alt/rock track. Classic stuff. They were one of the first bands that I was really into, and I kinda went off them a bit after the …art album. But after hearing this track, I’m looking forward to their new album in a few weeks. Don’t get me wrong - Unit will be hard to top as one of the best albums ever.
And the Hillsong United crew actually made a video clip for Point of Difference - it’s cool stuff too.
