that’s how I like my meetings: short and sweet.
Just returned from a meeting with Woolies out at their super head office in Baulkham Hills. Being so close to home, I decided to head out there, do my stuff, then come back home to work. I like that idea because a) it’s a Friday, and b) it means I can get things ready to head down to Church Camp, and even leave early and beat traffic - woo! And it was a 10am meeting… and it was done before 11am. That’s how I like ‘em.
I can’t believe how massive Woolies’ HQ is. There’s 4 separate buildings within this one ginormous building. It’s awesome. They have their own supermarket in there, as well as 3 cafes (that I could see anyway). I’d love to work there.
During my musical thinking yesterday arvo I realised that I still didn’t have a case for my keyboard. Turramurra Music were supposed to be ordering it in for me. I rang them but got the usual, “oh, it’s not in yet. We’ll call you when it comes in.” Yeah… it’s been 3 months lady.
So I gave Intermusic in Bondi Junction a call to see what they could rustle up. They called me back this morning and said their suppliers have one and could probably get it within a week or two. Beauty! And only $170 as opposed to the $250+ that Turramurra Music were talking.
