This just in: an update on Roam… they’re still crap.

After being told that they’d call me “probably on Saturday, but Sunday at the latest” with an update and resolution, I realised this afternoon that still today I haven’t had a call. So I ring them and get a bit of a hopeless 15 year old chick on the end of the phone who just tells me that it looks like they’re still sorting it out, and leaves another note on the account asking the people in that department to call me. Awesome. So helpful. Helpful like a monkey.

Meanwhile, I still can’t use any toll roads unless I want to get more non-payment notices.

B made a good point on Saturday though - it’s better than being with the RTA one, where they only time you can call is between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday, except between 10am and 2pm, which is their lunchbreak, and even then, you have to stay on hold for about 3 hours. Yes yes, I remember the RTA days and I don’t want to go back to that.

And don’t get me started on the crappy Subway at Seven Hills!!!

Consumer ranting is over. Time to go home :)
