trying to get time off
So frustrated.
Work has just decided to be very very annoying and make it difficult for me to take any leave in January. I’d planned to have 3 weeks off - the first being for Primary Camp that I’m program directing, the second being a holiday for myself, and the third being to lead on Senior High Camp. But the initial answer to all that was no, because other people want to take leave at that time - so apparently that means that James is the one who has to miss out and stay at work.
But now it’s leaning towards I can have the first week and the last week off, but kiss goodbye to my holiday in the middle, and instead come back to work. Which I guess is great cos it means I still get to do the camps… but I was kinda looking forward to having time off in the middle. And actually relaxing and being away from Sydney and from any form of work.
On top of all that I’m just having a really crap morning. When our support person is away, I’m the only other one who has a high level of systems access, so I am expected to do any urgent things for the other salespeople… but people’s definition of urgent differs greatly - that’s always fun. Oh, and there’s a new guy too.
*sigh*
Patiently awaiting lunchtime so I can go off and have the nice lunch with the sales team who aren’t annoying me today and just forget about work all afternoon.
