weekend in progress report
It has been a good weekend so far… but I feel that it will move up into the rank of ‘great’ by the time it’s over.
Today was adventures out to Turramurra Music, which was amusing, albeit frustrating to the extreme. And I also enjoyed some time wandering around Dan Murphy’s just looking at things. I managed to only walk out with one bottle of wine, which was an achievement. And then tonight was an amazing A-League game - Sydney FC against Central Coast. The first half was pretty shocking from Sydney… but they came back into the second half much more on the money, and it turned out to be a 5-4 win to us, with the winning goal only coming in about the 93rd minute via a free kick. One of the best soccer games I’ve definitely ever seen!
Tomorrow is bassing in the morning, which I’m very much looking forward too - it’s been far too long since I played my bass. Unfortunately my fretless is away being repaired and so I will just be playing regular bass. And then travels to Manly for camp planning (I thought this was last weekend, but got my dates confused!). And then back to church for acoustic guitaring in the evening :D
Like I said, it’ll be ‘great’ by the end of Sunday…
