Enjoying a Sunday afternoon just hanging at home eating salad. And drinking juice. Mmm healthy for a change :)
I had to be up early this morning to head down to church to do the announcements. I wasn’t overly excited about that at 7:30 this morning, but it was a really good morning, and I very much enjoyed singing some awesome songs :) And so I am equally keen to head down tonight… just after a nap.
Yesterday was quite the fun day though. A BBQ is a great thing to do on Australia Day, and what better BBQ than a roadworker BBQ at Jen & Howie’s place. It was good to hang out with all the Thornleigh people and meet a lot of people I’d heard a lot about, but hadn’t actually met before. But it couldn’t just be left to a BBQ… and so off to Manly for some ice-cream and just hanging out was in order too. And then, because I’d never seen one before, it was back to Jen & Howie’s place with Debbie to watch the first Die Hard movie. Just the start of my education I feel :)
All that meant that I didn’t get home until 1am… but it was a very fun evening, and so a quick nap will make up for the lack of sleep.
