stuff that’s happened
Just realised it has been a couple of days since I wrote something.
Thursday and Friday came and went and were pretty normal work days.
Thursday night was down at the church for a meeting with a few people discussing service leading. Something that I don’t yet do, but will soon. It was exciting and scary… all very much at the same time. I am excited about doing it, but bottom line is that it’s a responsibility and is definitely not just standing up the front. I do have time to prepare, plan, think, practice… and so I just need to use that.
Tonight was off into Centennial Park with Debbie for a picnic dinner and to watch The Darjeeling Limited. Howie was correct - incredibly strange movie. But not too bad actually. I did enjoy it. It was just quite random at some points. It was quite awesome to just hang out with Debbie and to have made dinner for her so she could just enjoy her evening after a hard week. Things are tops.
I am looking forward to some sleeping. Not sure what tomorrow morning will bring… probably watching The Simpsons and not doing a lot else. Maybe some washing. Only maybe though.
