chained to a blue cable - that’s so 2002.
Me thinks I should blog something. But it will be brief. There is no wireless in the house at the moment until I have a chance to go out and get a new basestation, and when all you use is wireless, suddenly being tied to a stinkin’ blue cable is frustrating! I can’t be bothered staying out in the lounge room, and the LAN cable in my room isn’t long enough to reach my bed. So that’s why it will be brief and possibly boring too.
Today was good - first real day of being a part of the new sales team and getting some traction with the new job. I whipped up a quick proposal this arvo, which was a bit of fun (it’s so much easier to do a proposal for 9 mobiles rather than 79). And got rid of a fairly huge issue from the old job that was still hanging around.
And tonight has been hanging with Debbie - dinner at parentals, and now just hanging back here at the house of bach. I was quite grumpy this arvo cos my fuel card still hasn’t arrived - calls will be made tomorrow.
Can’t decide if I’m looking forward to the Kedron meeting on Thursday. Once that’s done it will mean I really need to step up the work I do on the program. And it’ll also be a lot of work just running the meeting too. But in the end, I’m working towards a week that is always amongst the best of my year… so I guess I should just keep thinking about that and just push through all the work that needs to be done to make it happen. And push through in a positive way I mean :)
