the rebel baptist

What a fantastic Sunday evening that was. I got to play some music with a bunch of very talented musos, and that made for quite a relaxed and enjoyable practice. And because of that, I was keen to try different things, and suggest doing songs quite differently. And they didn’t miss a beat. But it all made for me very much enjoying myself and smiling lots (and even dancing a little bit *shock horror*). And I hope that in people seeing me enjoying the songs so much as I lead, that they might be able to see the joy that we should live in, in Christ.

Hung out for a while at Aleesha’s place and had some very yummy pumpkin soup. But came home to just go through some emails from Kedron and to start thinking about a few things. The 4 of us in the director team are having a little meeting tomorrow night to go through things before the last meeting before camp on Thursday with all the other leaders. Starting to feel the pressure a bit now… but things are always awesome - I can’t wait for the actual week of camp.

Looking forward to working from home tomorrow though. That will be mighty wonderful!
