who needs pizza when you have a roast
There’s a lovely smell of roast lamb and roast pork wafting through the House of Bach at the moment. We’re all hanging out watching State of Origin tonight rather than having bible study. And rather than the usual pizza we have, Steve has cooked an amazing roast. Or two. Lamb and pork! So good.
Had a pretty tops day at work today. Finally feeling like I’m getting traction with the account team and the sales are starting to come through! In our meeting this morning, we went through our month-to-date sales, and I’m sitting at $66k (out of $220k target). But that was still surprising when I know I still have a lot of huge sales to close this month that are as good as signed. So I’m quite excited about that!
And yesterday was just a pretty normal day… but the evening was lots of fun. It was Debbie’s birthday yesterday! And so it was family dinner round at her place with Jen & Howie as well. I was very excited about finally getting to taste some of Mumma Gower’s chinese cooking that had been talked up for quite a while… but it didn’t disappoint. And then it was fun times playing the Australian Game of the Year! There was lots of rules, but it was definitely lots of fun. Debbie and I are going to give it another run on Friday night with my parents and sister.
Right now, I think the roast is calling…

The present Lady Rollo and I would have made a grand appearance except that she was pretty well exhausted and jet-lagged and I wasn’t yet about to go without her.
