reliving high school days
Been a busy day, and I’m now quite tired.
Debs and I went on an excursion to DFO today. She needed to try and find some wedding shoes (which she did successfully), and there was a few other things to get. I managed to get me a pair of $20 Converse look-a-likes from Rivers, and also some cool Giordano stuff too.
We’re now sitting here with two laptops open, consolidating our wedding guest list and making sure that everyone we want to come can come :)
Last night, we headed round to Ruth & Jono’s place for dinner. Ruth is a friend of Debbie’s from school. It was a really good night, and Jono and I found that we shared quite a bit of similar music tastes from quite a few years ago – things like old school Offspring, Green Day… and Frenzal Rhomb :) I realised on the way home that night that I hadn’t listened to Frenzal’s A Man’s not a Camel CD in quite a few years, and so this morning on the way over here, I gave it a good listening too. Many memories of my senior high school years came flooding back. I was also reminded of fun trips out to Koorong in Big Red with B, Tim and B2, as we searched for yet another bible study book to go through :)
Amnesia lane is fun.
