cooking is fun
I am enjoying cooking more and more now-a-days.
It’s lots of fun just going to the supermarket and wandering around picking some form of meat, and then a handful of random veges, and then going and finding some spices or herbs, and a sauce to go with it all. Great fun indeed.
But tonight was cooking a yummy mini pork roast that I’m growing to love a lot. A couple of pork fillets (not exactly the cheapest bit of meat available), a heap of sweet potato, and then just make a sauce of soy, honey and mustard, and throw it all in the oven for half an hour. Super easy, and tastes great. Pity it’s a bit of an expensive one, so not one you’d have often.
Off to the city tomorrow. Oh city coffee… I’m looking forward to it already. Then the long meeting. Then there’ll be quite a bit of stuff to get done, as well as a meeting with my boss. But then I’ll be heading down to the Wesley Centre for a briefing from Sol about the year gone. I love hearing our CEO speak – he is a great presenter.
