A tops day for NSW

I’m still a Labour supporter at heart… but seeing Michael Costa get dumped as the treasurer and then Morris Iemma resign as Premier makes this a great day for NSW :) What a crazy 24 hours in NSW politics!

Yes, but Costa is not out of the picture yet. Rees could reinstate him as Treasurer or give another portfolio. Having just listened to Iemma’s press conference I feel for him. The knives were out today. Politics is a blood sport.

Rees is OUR local member of parliament. I don’t believe this, a boy from Sevo is premier of NSW. We now have a bona-fide Westie as premier!

    Go the member for Toonie!

You think they can fix the roads/trains/buses by the time I get back? I love not having to worry about transport over here, it’s awesome :) I don’t think once have I seen a ‘peak hour’.

Considering that the railway line to Castle Hill promised by the Dibbs government in 1891 still hasn’t been built, don’t hold your breath waiting.
