cafe nerds

Debbie and I look like massive nerds this morning – we’re sitting down at the beautiful beach cafe in Hervey Bay, both with our laptops open :) But there’s a good purpose behind it – we’re doing wedding stuff. There’s a few things that we want to get organised while we’re here, and we’re well on the way to getting them done. Go us.

Yesterday was quite a relaxing one – we headed down here in the morning to the cafe and sat for while. After that, we headed down to the Marina to book our ticket on a fun twilight cruise across to Fraser Island, which includes a buffet dinner – all for less than $50 each! Score.

We had to head to Woolies to grab a couple of things, and while we were there, I spotted Jerry Maguire for $8. Debbie had never seen it before, and so our lunchtime viewing was set. And then after that was just bludging by the pool before heading out to visit my Nan and Grandpa in their cute little unit and having dinner with them. They have been funny this visit – loving to chat and tell stories… much more than grandparents usually do! I reckon they’re just showing off their grandparent-ness in front of Debbie ;)

And today… well, after this, we’re heading down to the Boat Club to have lunch with my grandparents… and then who knows what the afternoon will hold. Almost certainly a nap. And nothing.

Holidays are tops.
