Mr Rees impressed the Shebang panel of Marty Sheargold, Fifi Box and Paul Murray with his knowledge of his local electorate of Toongabbie, getting four from four questions right.

The Premier was able to name the chicken shop on Cornelia Rd, the area’s colloquial moniker Toony, the public school on Fitzwilliam Road and the cost of a chicken schnitzel at the Toongabbie Hotel.

That’s impressive.

I wouldn’t have known how much a chicken schnitzel was at the pub. I would’ve known the other three though. And as for the moniker… How do you really spell it? Is it Toony, Toonie or Tooney?
